When I was in my early 20s my marriage ended and I lived with my two young kids and several roommates. One male roommate took an interest in me, and took advantage of me when we were having a few drinks one night. I thought he was going to be my boyfriend after that. A few weeks later when I told him I was pregnant he moved away without telling anyone where he was going.
Before I knew it I was living in a car, with two kids under the age of 5 and out of work. I didn’t want to think about being pregnant, I wanted to die.
If I hadn’t had an abortion I couldn’t have taken care of the kids I already had. I wish that I never went through that hard time, but I don’t regret ending the unwanted pregnancy.
